Let the games begin!
The weather
has as expected given us some problems these last days. Both yesterdays
downhill training, and today´s race was cancelled. Since our program has been
postponed, we got the chance to go watch the opening ceremony in Vancouver last
night. It was an experience of a lifetime to see the show, and to match with
fellow Norwegian Olympians. Although it was a lot of travelling and waiting
around to get there, it fueled me with the true Olympic spirit. Which was made
it all worth the effort.

Today I did
some slalom training in the morning. The slopes were covered by a lot of fresh
snow, but we still got some good runs done. Since the Olympic Games now is underway, we are pretty much stuck in front of the TV watching all day.. |
