The season is over..
Today I
skied the last World Cup race of the season. It´s crazy how fast the season
moves by. I had a good race today, and skied well in both runs. The sad part is
that I straddled a gate in the second run, and did not finish.
Av Lars Myhre I was 11th
after the first run, and was leading at the last split of the second run. A top
10 result was good within reach, and it´s hard to go into the summer without
it.. But slalom is, as I have earlier experienced a marginal event. One small
miscalculation, and your done. But I have learned that patience is the key, and
I´m more convinced then ever that I will success in reaching the top. Too bad I
have to wait 7 months to try again… Tuesday I´m
off to the national championships in Narvik. Looking forward to a relaxing week
in a different environment. The 2009/10
season is over, but the 2010/11 season starts tomorrow! I already have some
ideas about what I need to improve to be ready for the next step. Thanks a
lot for all the support throughout the season! |
